Please
send a personal thank you from myself and the Subsea team on the
Energy for the help and assistance that WEST's surveyor gave us
during his time on board. Most times, Subsea do not relish the
idea of third party inspectors hanging over our shoulders. WEST's
surveyor was extremely helpful and realized with the safety shutdown
in progress and that we were all relatively new to the Energy,
that his task would and was going to be tough. We had made a good
start before WEST's surveyor arrived and with his help we have
now moved forward considerably.
Also,
WEST's surveyor started a set of programs that covered specific
items, i.e. change out of control system parts, that will continue
to be useful in the future. The Subsea systems on board should
now go from strength to strength as our new team molds together.
Currently the BOP is working well Subsea with no issues.
